Envoys of Five Nations Present Credentials to President Murmu

Five new envoys presented their credentials to President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan

The envoys were from Ghana, Zambia, Armenia, the European Union and Colombia.

President Droupadi Murmu received credentials from the envoys of five nations at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday. The envoys were from Ghana, Zambia, Armenia, the European Union and Colombia.

The envoys who presented their credentials were:

• H.E. Mr. Charl Ferdinand Armah, High Commissioner of Ghana
• H.E. Ms. Judith Kapijimpanga, High Commissioner of Zambia
• H.E. Mr. Armen Martirosyan, Ambassador of Armenia
• H.E. Mr. Ugo Astuto, Ambassador of the European Union
• H.E. Mr. Jairo Raul Enrique Cristancho, Ambassador of Colombia

The President congratulated the envoys on their new assignments and wished them a successful tenure in India. She also expressed hope that the envoys would work to further strengthen the ties between their countries and India.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Ministry of External Affairs and the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
